Jen helps Mexican orphans

Jennifer Aniston will create a doll to raise funds for a Mexican orphanage.

Jennifer Aniston will create a doll to raise money to help Mexican orphans.

The actress has been a long time supporter of Friends of El Faro, an organization that aims to provide a better quality of life for Mexican children living at the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage in Tijuana.

She will work with designers to create a traditional Mexican doll. The handmade dolls will sell for $95 each and all proceeds raised will go to the orphanage.

"These kids aren’t sitting there thinking, ‘Oh my life sucks, look at where I live.’ They have been given a lot of love and are getting educated, which is the most important thing, having knowledge of what they can do,"  Aniston told Access Hollywood.

Aniston recently celebrated her 41st birthday with friends at the One & Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
