Jennifer Aniston Plans New Film

Jennifer Aniston may be sharing the screen with Adam Sandler in the film Pretend Wife.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aniston is in talks to star in the new romantic comedy from Columbia Pictures.

Dennis Dugan, who has worked with Sandler for many years, will be directing the film.  He previously directed Sandler in the films Big Daddy and Happy Gilmore.

The new project’s plot, which is being kept secret, was written by Allan Loeb (Things We Lost in the Fire) and Tim Dowling (Role Models).  Sandler will be producing the film via his company, Happy Madison.

Filming is set to begin in early 2010, after Sandler finishes filming Jack & Jill and Aniston wraps up The Goree Girls.

In the meantime, we can see Jennifer Aniston starring opposite Gerard Butler in The Bounty, opening March 19.  Sandler will be starring with Salma Hayek, Kevin James, Rob Schneider and Mario Bello in Grown Ups, in theatres on June 25, 2010.  The film will also be directed by Dennis Dugan.  Additionally, Sandler’s voice will be featured in The Zookeeper, opening on October 8, 2010.
