A new book from producer and former businessman with links to the arms trade, Arnon Milchan, reveals a few secrets about the love triangle of Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, reports the Daily Mail.
In the book Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon, the producer of the film Mr. And Mrs. Smith, a spy thriller about a married couple, said that, originally, Brad Pitt was to share the screen with Nicole Kidman. Pitt left the project due to lack of chemistry with the actress.
However, after Milchan cast Angelina Jolie as Mrs Smith, he said Pitt called him to say he would be happy to play the Mr Smith role. According to Milchan, Pitt was already infatuated with the actress from the start.
At first, Aniston wasn’t sure if her husband was seeing Jolie. Around New Year’s 2005, Pitt finally confessed his feelings for Jolie, and Aniston, furious, asked him to leave their home.
The actor moved in with producer Arnon Milchan during the shooting of Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
“Brad drove each day to the set, and everywhere else, on a motorcycle and he wore a wraparound helmet with a tinted visor so no one would recognize him. He stayed with me for the duration of filming,” Milchan said.
The couple announced their separation in January 2005, but reconciliation rumors circulated when Pitt joined Aniston her birthday in February. However, the photos of Pitt in Africa with Maddox and Jolie were the last straw, and Aniston filed for divorce.
Now Pitt and Jolie have six children and Aniston is in a relationship with actor Justin Theroux.
