Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman have accepted roles in the comedy about fertility called The Baster, which is set to film in the spring.
The script was inspired by a short story called Baster by Jeffrey Eugenides, published in the New Yorker.
A nervous, neurotic man (Bateman) learns that his best female friend wants to get pregnant through artificial insemination. Secretly, he exchanges the donor’s sperm with his own, but has to live with the hidden truth that he is the father of his best friend’s child.
Jennifer Aniston stars in He’s Just Not That Into You, which hits theatres today (February 6).
