Jennifer Hudson has unveiled her clothing line and says she hopes it will appeal to women of all sizes and ages.
The Oscar-winning actress gave a sneak preview of the QVC collection in New York on Tuesday night (26.06.12), which consisted of 14 items at affordable prices.
Jennifer – whose weight has fluctuated over the years – said: ”I’m nervous and excited at the same time! I hope the public embraces my line…it’s my baby.
”I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it.”
The initial collection is set to launch in September and prices range from $50 – $170. The range includes dresses, tunics, leggings, coats and tops and the most expensive item is a classic grey coat, cinched at the waist with a flare skirt, that’s priced at $170.
Jennifer has previously said she would wear every item in the collection otherwise she wouldn’t have allowed it to be made.
The mother-of-one said: ‘It has to be true to me. I would not sign off on it if I would not wear it.”
