Yesterday (December 30), Hudson’s former brother-in-law, William Balfour, was charged with 3 counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion.
The man, who claims to be innocent, will have to appear in court on January 20.
Prosecutors believe that Balfour got into a dispute with his ex-wife, Julia, Jennifer’s sister, because he thought she was dating another man. He then, allegedly, took his anger out on her family.
The actress’ mother and brother, Darnell Donerson and Jason Hudson, were killed in October in Donerson’s Chicago home. The body of Hudson’s nephew, Julian, was found three days later in the trunk of an SUV.
