According to FemaleFirst, the employees at the North Shore Medical Center on Long Island took part in a security drill last Friday (February 8), which involves locking down the hospital if a baby is taken.
Lopez, who is expecting twins with her husband, Marc Anthony, should be giving birth today. A friend close to the star said, "Jennifer has spoken so much about how excited she is about the birth that anyone who is considering a kidnapping knows how far she would be willing to go to get her babies back. The hospital will be on high alert when Jennifer comes in to give birth, and have practised the Code Pink drill just in case they need to put it into practice."
A spokesperson for the medical centre confirmed that the security drill took place, but said that the timing was merely a coincidence.
