Jennifer Lopez rented a yacht worth $29 million US to stay on during the Cannes Films Festival, Music-News reports.
The singer, her husband, Marc Anthony, and their two children, Max and Emme, want to have as much privacy as possible during their stay in Cannes during the popular festival. This is why she rented fashion designer Roberto Cavalli’s luxury yacht for the duration of the festival.
A source says, "The yacht comes with its own crew of four – so it’s much plusher than any hotel. And Jennifer can have all her entourage under one roof."
The source also explains that it was important for Lopez to have as much privacy as possible since her twins have accompanied her to France. What better place to keep the press at bay than a boat?
Lopez has attended several special events since arriving in France, including the Grand Prix of Monaco as well as the Gucci party honouring director Martin Scorsese.
The singer can be seen on the big screen in the movie The Back-up Plan that hit theatres on April 23.
