Jennifer Lopez Reaches a Settlement

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have reached a settlement with a former employee.

Lopez and Anthony settled a court case with a woman who claimed to have been attacked by their German Shepherd.

Lisa Wilson, a pilot who worked on the stars’ private jet, sued Anthony and Lopez because she said she had suffered injuries, including severe back problems, following an attack by the couple’s dog, Floyd, in 2006.

The two sides reached an agreement, though the details remain confidential.  Wilson’s lawyer also had testimony from two other former employees who had been attacked by the dog.

The couple’s personal assistant had been bitten on the arm and the cleaning woman suffered a head injury.  According to the New York Daily News, neither incident was reported to authorities.

Anthony and Lopez no longer have Floyd.  According to Anthony, the decision to give the dog away was because of the amount of maintenance he required, and not because of the incidents.  Nicole Robinson, who starred in The West Wing, bought the dog in 2007 for $35 000.  Floyd was trained by German police.
