The annual Fashion Rocks show is conducted by the media group Conde Nast and will take place during New York’s Fashion Week.
The singer and actress will join Fergie, Fall Out Boy and Usher for a concert to celebrate the synergy between music and style.
Conde Nast Media Group’s president, Richard Beckham, said Wednesday, "The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago.Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians."
Other artists planning to take part in the event include Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Ludacris and Santana.
