Jermaine Jackson Honours His Brother

Jermaine Jackson will be participating in a show that will pay tribute to his late brother, Michael Jackson.

Just hours ago in Vienna, Austria, Jackson’s older brother, Jermaine, announced that he would be sharing the stage with Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge, Chris Brown, Akon, Angela Bassett and a number of other stars to honour the King of Pop, who died on June 25.  Additionally, musicians and dancers who were to perform with Michael Jackson in London will be taking part in the farewell show.

The concert will take place on September 26 in Vienna, where more than 65 000 people are expected.  A stage in the shape of a crown will be built for the more than 25 artists who will perform.

Jermaine talked about the choice of Vienna for the venue, saying, "Michael would have loved this event here because he was very fascinated by castles, palaces, elegance, history and legends."

Other artists will be announced in the coming days.  News conferences will be held in both London and Berlin.
