According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jesse Bradford (Flags of Our Fathers) has joined the cast of the film W. The film, being directed by Oliver Stone, follows the political career of George W. Bush. Bradford will play Thatcher, the American President’s college friend.
The political film is expected to be released on October 17, just before the United States Presidential Election. The DVD will be released in January, after President Bush officially leaves the White House.
Filming is already taking place in Shreveport, Louisiana.
