The two split last April after a 14 month romance, when Metcalfe was photographed with a mysterious young woman in Los Angeles.
According to FemaleFirst, the 28 year-old star said, "I have to persuade her that I didn’t cheat on her. I was always faithful to her and never cheated. Those girls that I was photographed with meant nothing to me. I would never betray Nadine. I still love her and it is my dream that we get back together soon."
Metcalfe, who spent a month in a California rehabiliation clinic to battle an addiction to alcohol, added that he has been 100% sober for three and a half months.
