According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alba is currently in negotiations to join the cast of the third instalment of the Meet the Parents film franchise.
In the film, Gaylord Focker (Ben Stiller) and Pamela Byrnes (Teri Polo) become parents. Details on the plot are being kept quiet, though we know that Alba would be playing an attractive pharmaceutical rep who tempts all the men of the family.
The cast also includes Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson. Filming is set to begin soon, with a release expected for next summer.
In the meantime, we can next see Jessica Alba in the film Valentine’s Day, opening on February 12, 2010. She will also star in An Invisible Sign of My Own, The Killer Inside Me and Machete.
