Jessica Simpson dated John Mayer on and off for two years. People reports she told Oprah she does not recognize the man who made those controversial comments to Playboy magazine.
During her appearance on the Oprah show yesterday (March 3), the singer said, "I was so disappointed in him. That’s not the John I knew."
During an interview with Playboy, John Mayer compared Simpson to ‘crack’ and revealed very personal details about their sex life.
He made a public apology to Simpson. She says she felt betrayed which is why "I haven’t written back. I don’t accept it … I hope he gets his life together."
There are rumours circulating now saying Simpson spent an evening flirting with The Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner. She was at a party at the home of Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary.
A source says, "Jeremy spent the night hitting on Jessica like crazy. Jessica loved it! When the party was over, the two exchanged numbers, entering them into their phones."
