Radio station WQIK is allowing fans to hear Jessica Simpson’s new country song, Come On Over. The song will most likely be part of her next album, which marks a comeback to her country roots.
Simpson’s father, Joe, said, "She’s a singer from top to bottom. And everything in the music business, especially pop music, has moved away from singers. And I think country is the the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left."
The singer from Texas recently finished working on the film Major Movie Star, and will be focusing on her music career once again. Her last pop album, A Public Affair, was released in 2006.
