Jessica Simpson has decided to call her first country album, being released by Columbia Nashville on September 9, Do You Know, reports Billboard.com.
The first single from the disc, Come on Over, has moved from the 26th spot to the 23rd on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart.
Simpson’s album was produced by Brett James and John Shanks, with help from Rachel Proctor, Victoria Banks, Troy Verges and Hillary for songwriting.
In addition to several television appearances to promote the album, Simpson will perform at several country music festivals this summer in the United States.
