According to Us magazine, rumour has it that Butler has his eyes on Simpson.
The 39-year-old actor has been in the public eye with several stars, including Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz, and he was seen with Jessica Simpson at New York’s SoHo House last Tuesday (October 20).
A witness revealed that the two stars, "seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours."
Butler and Simpson have not provided any comment, but a source close to the singer explained, "There is nothing romantic there at all."
