Jessica Simpson’s fancy new fragrance

I Fancy You caps singer’s Fancy collection.

Actress-singer-turned-fashion mogul, Jessica Simpson is launching a new fragrance called I Fancy You, reports People.

"I am so excited to introduce my fourth and final fragrance of the Fancy Collection, ‘I Fancy You,’" the star said in a statement, referencing her Fancy perfume line that launched in 2008 with the eponymous Fancy fragrance.

Since then, Simpson has added Fancy Love and Fancy Nights to the line, with I Fancy You now rounding out the collection.

"This floral scent is romantic and feminine and conjures up the feelings of a first love that makes you realize that love can last forever," she added.

More than just lending her name and image to the marketing campaign, Simpson had a hand in the scent’s creation, aided by perfumer Cécile Hua of MANE. The soft musk has a flowery and fruity aura with notes of pear, Fuji apple and bergamot orange.

The elegant bottle is kept simple, a pale blue decanter decorated with tiny hearts and the fragrance name written in a flowing script. Simpson said the design was inspired by a vintage perfume bottle from her own personal collection.

Simpson’s fashion empire – already estimated to be worth $1 billion by the end of 2011 – continues to expand. As well as her new fragrance, the star also plans to launch a new tween clothing division, as well as more adult-oriented ready-to-wear and career-wear lines this year.
