Billboard.com reported that singer Jewel signed a contract to record many albums with the record company Valory Music Company and she changed her genre to country.
The star stated that country music was always in her plans. "I’ve been wanting to do this record my whole career, but my label was always scared of country music. I’ve always had country songs on my records."
This new album by Jewel was produced by Big and Rich’s John Rich and will be released in the spring.
