According to a report in Chart Attack, a DVD is coming out in England on May 3 called Jimi Hendrix: The Story Of The Lost Sex Tape.
The recording is approximately 11 minutes long and was discovered during an auction in 2007. It shows the late rock star in a series of threesomes with two women. The two women are former Hendrix super groupies Pamela Des Barres and Cynthia Plaster Caster.
The following year, adult video producer Vivid Entertainment revealed its existence. This is the same company that is responsible for the Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee sex tape.
The company says, "Jimi Hendrix could have been as great a porn star as he was a rock star."
There are some people who question the sex tape’s authenticity and whether it is really Hendrix in the video. His girlfriend, Kathy Etchingham, does not believe the man in the video is Jimi Hendrix.
Both women in the video are believed to have made a fortune from the US release of the sex tape, along with the fan who found it.
