Jimmy Fallon is a dad again

Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen have welcomed their second daughter into the world via a surrogate.

Jimmy Fallon has become a father for the second time.

The 40-year-old talk show host and his wife Nancy Juvonen, 47, welcomed daughter Frances Cole – a sister for 16-month-old Winnie – into the world yesterday (12.03.14) morning via a surrogate, his representative has confirmed.

Their spokesperson said: ”The ‘Tonight Show’ host Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy, have welcomed a baby girl.

”Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 am on December 3rd weighing 5 lbs. 11 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose.

”The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate.”

The happy news meant ‘Tonight Show’ recordings for yesterday and today (12.04.14) were scrapped, with reruns scheduled in their place.

A spokesperson for network NBC said: ”Due to unexpected but delightful circumstances, ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ has had to cancel tapings for [Wednesday and Thursday]. Wednesday’s repeat airing will include Daniel Radcliffe, Mike Tyson and musical guest Sturgill Simpson and Thursday’s repeat guests are Gordon Ramsay, Fallonventions and musical guest Little Big Town.

”We look forward to resuming original episodes in the very near future.”

Like Frances, the couple didn’t reveal they were expecting their first child and Jimmy previously admitted he and Nancy thought things would be more ”fun” that way.

He said: ”We said, ‘We’re not going to tell anybody.’ It’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody.

”When it happened we were in shock. We were like, ‘Alright, who do we tell? Who’s going to be mad at us if this gets out?’ We had to call everybody and it’s so emotional!”
