Foster received an award last week by the Los Angeles magazine Hollywood Reporter at the Beverly Hills hotel. FemaleFirst reported that Foster announced for the first time her relationship with film producer Cydney Bernard, who has been her girlfriend for the last 15 years.
There have been rumours for years that Foster is gay, but the star of Silence of the Lambs, has refused to discuss her sexual orientation.
When Foster accepted her award Tuesday evening she expressed "I would like to thank my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss."
