According to a report by the National Enquirer, the two-time Oscar-winner is willing to do anything to settle things with her partner, Cydney Bernard of 14 years, with little media attention.
To do this Foster is not hesitating to pay $25 million, which is a quarter of her income, to pay for Cydney’s silence about Foster’s affair with Cynthia Mort.
The 45-year-old actress’ fortune is estimated to be $100 million, and half of that was earned while she was with Bernard. Therefore, Bernard has the right to claim up to half of the amount Foster had been paid.
Determined not to stir up any animosity, Foster is also trying to keep the peace between the two women. "She wants them to be friends. Jodie realizes that if Cydney perceives them to be one big happy family, she’d never sue for half her assets," a source informed the tabloid.
