Joe Jonas wants his fans to dance

Debut solo album in the works for Jonas brother.

The trio of handsome Jonas brothers forms one of America’s most popular boy bands, and as they get older, each is beginning to branch out with their own solo projects, reports MTV News.

After Nick formed Nick and the Administration to record a solo album, and Kevin announced his intentions to do his own album, it’s finally Joe’s turn to undertake a solo adventure.

Joe wanted his brothers’ blessing. "I wanted to have my brothers’ support, and the fact they’re both so excited for me and they’ve been wanting this for me for a long time [is great]," he told MTV News.

Unlike Nick, who had a more bluesy, pop-rock sound, Joe wants to generate a different fan reaction with his debut solo album, “….when people hear it, hopefully they’ll be able to dance to it and have a good time.”

Jonas talked about his experience working with producer Frankmusik, "Frank is really cool and talented… We weren’t sure if we were gonna work together. His background is very electropop, dance music but now, that’s pretty much the direction."

Jonas has previously said he is working on "a more dangerous sound" like Justin Timberlake for the project, which is rumoured to drop this year.
