And we just learned that Joel Armia will return to the lineup, having been left out against Sweden on Saturday. He will replace Teuvo Teravainen. Armia and Patrik Laine, two Canadiens members, will therefore face Canada.

Will the fans at TD Garden boo the Canadian national anthem today? I’m pretty sure they will, given that we booed their national anthem and their captain last week in Montreal.

I think every self-respecting North American who loves hockey hopes to see a great final Canada vs USA Thursday night in Boston. Any other scenario would be significantly less interesting…

– Matthew Tkachuk did not skate with the Americans this morning. He is not expected to be in uniform tonight against Sweden (in a meaningless game for them). If he had the chance, would he still drop the gloves against Canada, knowing it might have ended his tournament?
