Johnny Knoxville Means No Harm

Johnny Knoxville is apologising for having brought a fake grenade into the Los Angeles airport.

Actor Johnny Knoxville (Jackass) is sorry that he carried a fake grenade in his luggage while trying to board a plane from Los Angeles to Miami.

Knoxville had no idea that the item was mixed into his belongings. He had just finished wrapping up the filming of Nitro Circus for MTV where he used the accessory.

"When the shoot was over, the wardrobe girl packed my luggage so I could go home and, unbeknownst to me, she packed a FAKE hand grenade (a prop grenade that I’d taken to the shoot) in the front zipper of my luggage," explained Knoxville. He hadn’t checked his luggage beforehand.

He was then briefly arrested at the airport. "The cops did their job and verified that it wasn’t real. Also, they were cool as they could be to me, considering the situation, and it is no one’s fault but my own," he explained.

The actor mentioned that he should have thought of checking his bags.
