Jordana Brewster: It’s like Larry hasn’t left us

Jordana Brewster has revealed the cast of ‘Dallas’ are still coming to terms with the death of Larry Hagman, who passed away last November.

Jordana Brewster says the ‘Dallas’ cast still expect Larry Hagman to walk onto the set.

The TV legend – who played oil baron J.R. Ewing in the drama both during its original run and when it returned in 2012 – passed away last November aged 81, after losing his battle with cancer.

Jordana admits the cast has struggled to come to terms with Larry’s death and his presence is still felt by the entire cast.

The 33-year-old actress – who portrays Elena Ramos in the show – told BANG Showbiz: "We still have Larry’s trailer on set, his name is still on the call sheet, it almost feels as though he hasn’t left us. But he’s been a huge loss. A lot of us just expect him to walk into the make-up trailer. We miss him and his big hat."

The screen beauty also revealed Larry gave the cast – which includes Linda Gray, Patrick Duffy and Jesse Metcalfe – several mementos before he passed away and they are cherished by everyone.

Jordana – who was in the UK this week to attend the premiere of her new film ‘Fast and Furious 6’ – added: "He had the biggest heart and he gave us so many mementos before he passed like a bottle that was signed by him and Barbara Eden (former ‘Dallas’ star), and I’ll see those once in a while and think of him."
