Josh Duhamel was left disappointed when he found a nudist beach full of "old men".
The ‘Transformers’ actor enjoyed a cash-strapped backpacking trip across Europe when he was younger and he and his friend were initially delighted when they stumbled across the naked sand bank during their travels.
However, Josh’s excitement soon dissipated when he discovered the risqué beach was full off mature men without any clothes on.
He recalled: "When I was younger, I backpacked across Europe. My most memorable moment was when we happened [to come] across an Italian nudist beach, expecting it to be full of hot women, but it was full of old men.
"We had almost no money during that trip, but the wine there was cheaper than the water in the Italian Riviera. I took full advantage of that."
The handsome star and his wife Fergie – who is currently pregnant with their first child – enjoy jet-setting across the globe and make sure to pick up souvenirs from each country they visit.
They love picking up unusual musical instruments from different nations because the Black Eyed Peas singer loves world music.
He added to ShortList magazine: "I travel a lot and so does my wife, so we’ve collected some foreign music. She buys instruments from all over the world – our house is cluttered with percussion stuff from Kazakhstan and Africa.
"So if I’m not listening to world music, I’m listening to my wife playing world instruments."
