George Ratliff will be adapting the sports novel by Don DeLillo and will be working with actors Josh Hartnett, Sam Rockwell and Kat Dennings, who starred in End Zone.
Hartnett will play the part of a talented football player, and will be in love with the character played by Kat Dennings. Rockwell will play an advertising agent who tries to make the team take off. The director, who did Joshua, also worked on the screenplay with David Gilbert.
Filming will begin in February in New Mexico.
