Stone spent nearly $185,000 US to make her grandfather’s dream of seeing the World Cup Finals come true. The 19 year-old star left a Caribbean vacation in a private jet to take her grandfather, Edwin, to Germany for the final game.
According to the Daily Mirror, the grandfather was elated. A source told the paper, "When Joss said she was taking him, he thought she was joking. He couldn’t believe his ears."
