The British actor defended himself regarding an incident that took place outside of the nightclub Automat in the early hours today (July 23).
Law struck a photographer, but says that because of all the flashes going off in his face, he had merely raised his hand to shield his eyes, when he accidently made contact with the photog.
Graham Shear, a lawyer representing the Alfie star, said, "This is all nonsense. Last night’s incident was an accident. Jude raised his hand to shield himself and inadvertently struck somebody standing very close. He apologised and left."
In 2007, Law was accused of a similar attack when photographers were camped outside his London home. A photographer claimed that the star broke his camera, but no charges were ever filed.
