According to Variety, Ormond has agreed to play the mother of Lohan’s character in the independent thriller. The film will be directed by filmmaker Chris Siverston. Filming is set to begin this month in Los Angeles and New York.
Ormond will play a mother who allows her daughter to lead an independent life. The mother is horrified when the daughter is kidnapped, but things get worse when the daughter is found alive, but claims to be someone other than who she is.
Ormond, 41, next appears in the film Inland Empire, directed by David Lynch. At the moment, she is filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt.
