The Hollywood Reporter announced that Julia Roberts will act as producer for the comedy Jesus Henry Christ by Dennis Lee.
Roberts filmed Fireflies in the Garden, opening June 19, with Lee.
Jesus Henry Christ is based on Lee’s short film, for which he received a Student Academy Award in 2003.
The story is about Henry James Hermin, who was conceived through in vitro fertilisation, and was raised by a left-wing feminist. At 10 years of age, he decides that his left-wing feminist mom’s love is not enough for him, and sets out to find his biological father by sticking a bunch of Post-It notes around the city.
At the moment, Roberts doesn’t plan on starring in the film.
