On August 24, the singer Julio Iglesias married his companion of 20 years, former model Miranda Rijnsburger.
The ceremony was held in the parish of Virgin del Carmen in Marbella, Spain. Only a priest, two witnesses and the couple’s five children, aged 3-13 years, attended the event.
According to seven days, the couple then went to the chapel of the singer’s property in Ojen before leaving on their honeymoon.
This is Iglesias’s second marriage; he was married before for seven years to the journalist Isabel Preysler, with whom he had three children, Chabeli, Julio Jr. and Enrique.
Iglesias’ career has been enormously productive and successful, with 77 albums that have sold more than 250 million copies. He has sung in 14 languages.
