An author is claiming that producers have not compensated him for his work on a cooking show featuring Gwyneth Paltrow, reports Starpulse.com.
Paltrow is part of a new show called Spain…On The Road Again, alongside chef Mario Batali.
However, the show, which is set to air in the fall, is being sued by Ben Karlin, who says he was approached in 2007 to create a book based on the show.
Karlin filed a suit in New York, accusing the head of the production company, Charles Pinsky, of having approved the concept for the guide but then omitting a contract endorsement and letting him go without pay.
The writer is also accusing Paltrow and Batali for refusing to cooperate in the creation of the book.
