Justin Bieber could give the answer to Ashton Kutcher
Young Canadian pop icon, Justin Bieber, is in talks with Sony Pictures to join Ashton Kutcher in the comedy What Would Kenny Do?, a film exploring the relationship between a 17 year old man and his 30-something future self.
According to the LA Times, the project was first pitched in 2008 as the story of a young man who travels through time to meet an adult version of himself. Recent changes however, have reportedly shifted the focus onto Kutcher’s character, who’ll revisit his past to effectively guide his young self through the muck and mire of the high school experience.
The film, re-written by (500) Days of Summer’s Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, will be produced by Kutcher’s production company, Katalyst Entertainment in collaboration with Will Smith and Overbrook Entertainment.
Bieber’s current film, Never Say Never, has raised more than $80 million in worldwide box office sales. The DVD will be released shortly.
