Teen pop star Justin Bieber was a big winner at the Kids’ Choice Awards this Saturday (April 2), taking home two blimp-shaped trophies, reports MTV.

Bieber was named favorite male artist, winning out over his mentor Usher, Jay-Z, and Bruno Mars. His hit single Baby won favorite song, beating Katy Perry’s California Gurls, Train’s Hey, Soul Sister, and Taylor Swift’s Mine.

On tour in Berlin at the time, the pop star was unable to attend the show in person, but later expressed his thanks through Twitter: "Just got word… thank [you] to all the fans [for] voting for the #KCAs – this all starts with the fans and you are the best in the world. love ya!"

Although Perry lost out to Bieber for favorite song, she was named favorite female artist. The trophy for favorite music group went to the Black Eyed Peas, who were on hand to perform The Time (Dirty Bit) and Just Can’t Get Enough.

Other performances included an over-the-top number from the show’s host Jack Black, and ten-year-old Willow Smith, who sang her hits 21st Century Girl and Whip My Hair, as dad Will and brother Jaden cheered her on from the audience.
