Justin Bieber in 3D
Canadian teen dream Justin Bieber will star in a feature film about his life. The young pop singer posted a message on Twitter on Monday (August 2): "I just got some incredible news… Next Valentine’s we r coming with a major 3D Movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director and also film in the tour at MSG in NYC!! This is so sick!!"
That Oscar-winning director was David Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) but he backed out of the project just two days after it was announced. Guggenheim needed to drop out to fulfill promotional commitments for his new documentary, Waiting for Superman.
The film will reportedly contain footage of Justin Bieber in concert as well as detail the story of his meteoric rise to fame.
Speaking of sick, Bieber performed a concert in Orlando, Florida last night (August 4). He started feeling ill mid-way but decided the show must go on. Against the advice of his entourage, he finished the entire set and thanked fans for giving him his second wind.
