Justin Bieber has been nominated for a 2011 Country Music Television Music Award for his collaboration with country and western band Rascal Flatts, reports Teen Music.

Bieber’s duet with Rascal Flatts, That Should Be Me, is nominated for collaborative video of the year, although it faces some steep competition from the Jason Aldean-Kelly Clarkson hit Don’t You Wanna Stay.

That Should Be Me originally appeared as a solo track on Bieber’s first studio album, My World 2.0. It was remixed with vocals from Rascal Flatts for Bieber’s newest album, Never Say Never – The Remixes.

The 2011 CMT Music Awards ceremony will take place in Nashville, Tennessee on June 8. Aldean leads the nominations with a total of four mentions. Along with his nomination for collaborative video of the year, Aldean’s single My Kinda Party is up for video of the year, male video of the year and best web video of the year.
