Justin Bieber rebels
TeenMusic.com reports young Canadian sensation Justin Bieber decided to carry on a family tradition and get a tattoo, even if he is legally too young to get one.
Bieber showed up at the Son of a Gun tattoo parlour in Toronto, Canada with his dad to get a tattoo. Co-owner Brian Byrne told MTV News: "The guy who tattooed him, Charlie, is a lifelong friend of Jeremy’s, Justin’s dad – they’re all from Stratford."
The teen heartthrob was seen with a small bird tattoo on his hip last month as he played on the beach in Australia.
The shop co-owner added: "It’s the outline of the seagull from Jonathan Livingston Seagull."
At 16 years old, Justin Bieber could only get a tattoo with his dad there because in Canada you have to be 18 years old to get a tattoo without parental consent.
The bird tattoo is a tradition in the Bieber family. Several members of the family have the same tattoo on their wrist.
Last week, Bieber took part in the annual Wango Tango festival at KIIS-FM radio in Los Angeles. He performed seven songs before an ecstatic crowd and ended with Baby, the most popular song of the night.
