Timberlake, winner of many Grammy awards, signed a five year contract with the PGA. The singer will host and play for the best golfers for a competition that will be from Octber 13-19 in Las Vegas. All of the profits will go to Shriners Hospital.
The singer stated, "I couldn’t be more excited," "We will make sure to make this event unique and memorable. Raising money to better children’s lives while playing golf? I can’t think of a better way to pass the time."
Timberlake is following in the footsteps of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., and is the 14th celebrity to be associated with the PGA.
Ralph W. Semb, President of the Board with Shriners hospital stated that Timberlake will "assist us in our work to help young people receive the quality medical treatment they deserve, at no cost."
