Actor Kal Penn, who worked last year on Barack Obama’s campaign, will now be working in the liaison office between the White House and Asian communities in Washington, reports UsMagazine.
The 31-year-old star said that his job is to bridge the gap between the American president and the Asian communities living in the country and ensure that they are well represented by him.
Despite his actor status, Penn does not require any special treatment. "I expect to be treated just like any other staff member. I brushed my teeth, I did floss, used mouthwash… took the bus to work, same thing that everybody does," he said.
