Donald Trump relaunched his campaign at a rally in Florida, where he took the opportunity to criticize the Biden administration in his latest speech. He made it clear that his criticism was not aimed solely at Joe Biden, but also at Vice President Kamala Harris.

With the current uncertainty surrounding Biden’s ability to continue his campaign, Trump’s new approach seems to indicate that he sees Kamala Harris as a real potential opponent in this presidential race… and with good reason.
Trump has adopted the moniker “Biden and Harris” to refer to the Democratic administration, underscoring a change in tactics in his campaign.
Trump also criticized Harris for her lack of leadership in the responsibilities assigned to her, while falsely claiming that Kamala Harris had never visited the U.S.-Mexico border, when in fact the vice president made a visit to the border in June 2021.
After several days of silence following Biden’s disastrous debate, Trump finally found his angle, accusing the Democrats of being involved in the biggest information withholding scandal in history.
He insinuated that Biden’s state of health was being hidden from the public by his party.
The White House issued a statement earlier this week detailing the president’s doctor’s medical visits.
Kamala Harris embarked on a series of events to shore up support for Biden, highlighting the Democrats’ positive record and highlighting the successes of his administration during his first term. Conversely, she didn’t forget to mention Trump’s dangerous policies and Project 2025, a worrying plan from the Republican right that proposes ultra-conservative (and sometimes downright deranged) policies for Donald Trump’s potential second term.
Although Trump’s entourage hopes that Biden will remain in the race, Trump’s choice to target Kamala Harris suggests that his campaign strategy is slightly affected by the recent turn of events.
