Kanye and Jay-Z team up

Two reigning kings of hip-hop plan to release a mini-album.

Kanye West is one of the most prolific lyricists in hip-hop. He recently opened a Twitter account and now uses the social networking site to post announcement after announcement.

First ‘Ye told fans about G.O.O.D. Fridays. He wrote: "I know y’all need the music so I’m dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song, it may be a new Jay song, etc."

Last Friday (August 27), ‘Ye revealed a new collaboration coming down the pipe. He shared: "Me and jay bout to drop a 5 song album called Watch the Throne."

West then released the track of the week, Monster. He told fans it will be the second song on Watch the Throne. Monster features vocals from rappers Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj plus Justin Vernon of indie-folk band Bon Iver.

West may release his Justin Bieber remix on one of these G.O.O.D. Fridays too. He tweeted on August 19 at 6:20 in the a.m.: "Finishing @JustinBieber Runaway Love remix too… don’t know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon’s verse is crazy!!!"
