Kanye West has been busy repairing his reputation since "Taylorgate" left it in tatters at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The backlash after West stormed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift was fast and fierce.
Now West has done his time in the doghouse and is back out in public promoting his new album. The as-yet-titled album will be the rapper’s fifth studio album. He plans to release it this fall.
The video for the new album’s first single, Power, debuted last week on MTV. It was the first new material Kanye West had premiered on the music network in a few years.
He acknowledged MTV last week via his Twitter account: "Thank you MTV for letting for putting POWER right after your #1 show. IFEELTHELOVE! … and thanks for the 2nd I mean 3rd ok 4th chance!!!"
