Kanye West to make debut at Paris Fashion Week

Rapper’s womenswear collection will be unveiled this weekend.

With Kanye West’s fashion line about to make its grand debut at Paris Fashion Week this Saturday, October 1, rumors about the unusual and highly-anticipated line have started to surface.

"Kanye was in fairly often for all the fittings. [He] was very nice and polite and talked knowledgeably about shape etc., but was prone to changing his mind a lot – in fact the whole process was slightly excruciating as there were so many opinions that it took forever to get anything done," an unnamed source told Grazia Daily.

According to the same source, the colors will include: "lots of ivory and gold, although the colors kept changing – probably peach too."

While everyone surrounding the project has remained tight-lipped, all indications suggest that the clothing is being put together by interns and students from U.K.’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design with defunct London nightclub Turnmills converted into a secret design studio.

The new line is also expected to include unique knitwear and embrace the popular trend of colorblocking: combining two of more solid blocks of color in a single ensemble. So far, the line will only include womenswear and "will be extraordinarily expensive; some of it is virtually unproduceable."

Sources also suggest the line will be heavily influenced by West’s own unique sense of style. "He spent a fortune on designer clothes and retro stuff that he brought into the studio," said the anonymous tipster.
