Kanye West to Release in November

The album 808s and Heartbreak by Kanye West will be released on November 25.

While Kanye West made a surprise appearance at a Los Angeles concert given by T.I. on Friday (October 3), the rapper took the opportunity to announce the release date of his fourth studio album.

808s and Heartbreak will be on music store shelves on November 24. West initially planned for the album to be released on December 16.

The star also unveiled the title of his single to come, which will be Heartless, following the song Love Lockdown, which was downloaded 402 000 times over the course of the past two weeks, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

By releasing his album in November, West is slightly ahead of his sworn nemesis, 50 Cent, who plans to release Before I Self Destruct in December.

The two artists became rivals in September 2007, when 50 Cent said that his disc Curtis was far more popular than Kanye West’s Graduation.
