Designer Karl Lagerfeld is being commemorated for his versatility and has earned the designer of the year award granted by the Maison & Object home trade show, reports Vogue.fr.
In addition to being a fashion designer and editor, Lagerfeld also does photography work, which often features in ad campaigns for other brands. He has also entered the world of interior design, such as overseeing the decor of the Isla Moda residential villas in Dubai.
The fashion mogul was honoured last Friday (January 30) at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
