The reps for Kat DeLuna, who is known for her single Whine Up, released in 2007, revealed that the pop singer has left Epic Records, reports Billboard.com.
The 20-year-old star is now working on her album following 9 Lives and is collaborating with several producers such as Akon, Jim Jonsin, Red One and J. Bynum.
DeLuna said, "I am excited to step into a new phase of my career. As a young artist, I am always looking for innovative ways to expand my opportunities, from recording to performing, and I felt this was the right time to make a change. I truly do appreciate everyone at Epic Records’ support of my career and wish them all the best."
